Hi hi...finally i can blog again! Im at home now cos i moved out of the hostel already. That means i'll only go back around next year la. But then, if there's a need for me to come out i'll still do so la. My house very near only what. hehe. Anyway, i haven been blogging for the past few days but lotsa interesting things happened! Ok..let's start from today=)
OK so this morning i woke up very early at 730, considering that there was no school stuff. So i decided i should go shoot baskets and buy breakfast on the way. Then something very stupid happened. Cos i wanted to spend all my coins so i took like 2 dollar change out. The i went to buy bread to eat before going to the court. And the cashier took a v long time to count and i was thinking, why so long huh, 2 bucks only, then hahahah, i only had 1.50. LOL. My math really fail la. Mrs Chang will be v sad. I cant even count 2 dollars properly. So too bad i din have breakfast then i went to shoot baskets. I realise i can only shoot accurately within the 罚球线( im not sure what's tat in English). But then my arm din allow me to play for long so one hour plus i went back to oack my stuff and seal everything properly in my room so that i can leave straight in the evening.
And after that i finally had our PW outing! But the only pity is that geneve din go la. She had to go out with her parents or something. Maybe Plaza Singapura aint the place for gen cos last time when we went there to play Daytona she wasnt there also. LOL. So we had lunch at Ajisen Ramen. OMG, the Volcano Ramen is damn nice! Hot and spicy you noe...so too all those hot and spicy fans out there, volcano ramen is the right bowl for YOU!! (this is not an advertisement)And im very proud of myself cos i finish the bowl this time round=)Alright, so after that we went to pool. Im super bad at it but its fun to see and play with them la. I always play ady then forget everything de so too bad. But weiliang, yixiu and ben foo they are quite good esp ben foo's hit damn strong. Haha. He must be very 得意。Then after that we went for more food! The taiwanese ice shop at the basement of PS is super nice! I finally gotta taste it again. HOHO...must try if you go there next time=) So after that i had to rush off cos i had some matters on and i need to move stuff out of the hostel as well, so that's the end of my outing with my war mates.
 
Ok..now im gonna start back tracking. For the past few days ive been busy with Xperience. After the island wide fund raising there was the volunteering sessions at Autism Youth Centre(AYC). So i was there for the first day and i was attached to this kid called Yan Hui. He's around our age but bcos of autism he cant really communicate well with people around him. But trust me they're all lovable pe ople. The way they smile makes you know that their smile and laughter is genuine. Maybe its just bcos they see the world around them differently so that makes us hard to understand them. Some of them like this guy called Wen Hao, are very talented in art and super meticulous. I'll post some pictures later so you can take alook at them. So what i did with Yan Hui for the first day was that we were planting bean sprouts and then we had them to design some stuff but bcos there was only one student and 4 volunteers for our class the pace was quite fast so we ended up drawing stuff together. haha. The drawings all very cute. Meng Die and I drew then he followed. Very cute. haha. Then on the last day, that means thursday, we were suppose to bring the kids out for a picnic excursion in Labrador Park la, but then the "poor weather condition" made it impossible. It was very depressing when one of the kids, Ee Neng actually tried to say "outing..outing...". Then Javier said he was calling me "auntie auntie"...hahaha until Eva said he is saying "outing isit?"..then he said "park".. We wanna bring them out but then the rain...it just din stop and it was indeed very sad to disappoint the kids. They dont really get to go "gaigai" often so its really a pity. I hope maybe next week or something we can make it up for them. And maybe i'll end up going to Hougang, a place which ive never been if not bcos of Xperience more often so that i can go visit the kids. Hahaha.
Well. Xperience was indeed a very fruitful experience, yes Li mei=) and it was really a good chance for me to know more of the people in our cohort which i previously din noe. And most importantly, it made it stronger and clearer to me that there is a need for the strong to help the weak and that people like us, healthy, blessed and wealthy in all areas of life (at least oppurtunities are opened to us), to be thankful for what we have and to contribute back to the society. My mom always told me that you need to at least need to have the ability to support yourself before you help people, anyone. Very true. So that means i'll need to work hard.Haha. Thank you to all of you in Xperience and thank you li mei for the sharing we had on our way home. It was a meaningful chat that made me reflect quite alot=)
And then the very nice thing that happened this week was that Sanba finally came out this week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!OMG...hahaha. Rare right. I was very happy to meet her at Buona Vista mrt and then i got the chance to bring her around my school. I dunno why i just felt very happy about being able to bring her to my school in Singapore. Then we went to island creamery for ice cream. Cos ive been telling her for ages how awesome the ice cream was there and she insisted that we go. I had nutella and "very berry", both were superb. She had black forest and cookies and cream. I like the black forest! And we managed to take a pic and paste it ourselves onto the wall. Now i finally have my photo on Island Creamery's wall! haha. im gonna go back and check time to time and have nice dessert at the same time=) After that we went for food spree at Joo Chiat there. The dumpling is serious good stuff! Its called Shanghai 人家. Its so nice that i even took a photo of it. LOL.Haa. Food was nice, i mean food IS nice. Im a serious food lover...gosh=)
Then for the next day i went for inline skating with my sis in East Coast Park. Dad dropped us at some place ulu so we had to do some walking before we reach the place.The walk was serene and very breezy. The sun and the trees made it even nicer. I din noe ECP was that nice.Haha, next time will go more often. Then we rented the skates for like 10 bucks each and we carried the skates to this place where beginners are suppose to learn skating. I couldnt skate there cos i dunno how to skate. Haha. Its quite weird that i can at least skate on ice but not land. But they say its the same so maybe that means i cant skate on ice anymore.Haha. Wait i shouldnt haha cos its not a good thing. LOL. So it was quite disastrous cos i din noe how to skate and there was NO teacher. The falls werent as bad as those on ice cos u have gear to cushion but then i kept on having this vision tat i'll have a twisted ankle and my foot will some how turn 180 deg.LOL. Very scary indeed.Haha.

One day i said 晚安 to my roommate Ying Xue. Then she said, do you know what 晚安 means? You say that to me everyday but do u noe the true meaning?
I was quite surprise like maybe there's some legend behind "wan an"..hehe.
Then Ying Xue said, you're telling me "我愛你,愛你"( wo ai ni ai ni).

Then on the last day, that means thursday, we were suppose to bring the kids out for a picnic excursion in Labrador Park la, but then the "poor weather condition" made it impossible. It was very depressing when one of the kids, Ee Neng actually tried to say "outing..outing...". Then Javier said he was calling me "auntie auntie"...hahaha until Eva said he is saying "outing isit?"..then he said "park".. We wanna bring them out but then the rain...it just din stop and it was indeed very sad to disappoint the kids. They dont really get to go "gaigai" often so its really a pity. I hope maybe next week or something we can make it up for them. And maybe i'll end up going to Hougang, a place which ive never been if not bcos of Xperience more often so that i can go visit the kids. Hahaha.
Well. Xperience was indeed a very fruitful experience, yes Li mei=) and it was really a good chance for me to know more of the people in our cohort which i previously din noe. And most importantly, it made it stronger and clearer to me that there is a need for the strong to help the weak and that people like us, healthy, blessed and wealthy in all areas of life (at least oppurtunities are opened to us), to be thankful for what we have and to contribute back to the society.
